Highly trained veterinary nurses

Highly trained veterinary nurses to provide the best care for your pets.

We employ over 30 fully qualified and registered veterinary nurses (RVNs) and many more are in training. You can trust that your pets are looked after by animal lovers who know what that are doing. Our nurses are a vital part of our team looking after you and your pet.

We also have a number of nurses who have achieved additional advanced qualifications. Annie Smedley is one of the clinic nurses at our Cheadle veterinary centre. She has gained the nursing Certificate in Small Animal Nutrition (Cert SAN). Paula Wright is Head of Anaesthesia and has the nursing Certificate in Anaesthesia and Critical Care (NCert. (A&CC)). Two of our other nurses, Laura Hayes and Emma Warren have achieved the Surgical Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (DipAVN(Surgical), with Laura also having been awarded the Medical Diploma (DipAVN(Medical). To assist with the rehabilitation of dogs that have orthopaedic and neurological disorders we have a hydrotherapy unit and qualified nurse practioners in canine hydrotherapy and rehabilitation.
