Winner of the 2013 Veterinary Practice/BVHA Design Competition!

Woodcroft Vets can now officially announce that our new Cheadle veterinary centre has won the BVHA’s veterinary practice design competition, in the “conversions” category! Competition was really high this year so we are all extremely proud that the judges have given our state-of-the-art practice the recognition that we at Woodcroft Vets know it deserves. Take the Google Tour.

The award ceremony took place on Friday 6th December and was attended by our practice manager Fiona Baxter and director Mark Allington who were responsible for overseeing the building work and conversion. Mark and Fiona were joined by our customer care manager Fiona Knight who had the initiative to enter the competition and complete the prolonged application process on Woodcroft Vets' behalf .

Cheadle veterinary centre opened in October 2012 and as well as being the only accredited “cat friendly practice” in the South Manchester area; it is also home to our brand new hydrotherapy service.

A great deal of hard work and thought went into the design of Cheadle veterinary centre. We wanted to make sure that your pets would be happy coming to see us, with an entire glass fronted waiting room, giving an airy, spacious feel. In addition, we wanted to ensure that there were separate waiting & hospitalisation areas for cats and dogs, elevated cat basket stands to make your feline friends feel more secure and even cat only consultation times!

We think that Cheadle veterinary centre has a lot to offer our valued clients and all the hard work overseeing the conversion has really paid off. We can now say that Cheadle is an award-winning practice!
