Nurse clinics

We offer nurse clinics at our main branches throughout the day. CheadleHandforthHeaton Moor and Offerton veterinary centres run preventative health clinics for you and your pet. All pets attending our nurse clinics will be assessed by one of our highly experienced and qualified veterinary nurses. In addition to being registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, many of our nurses have gained additional qualifications. Our Royal Canin Pet Health Counsellors are ready to help you with a variety of pet health issues.

Fiona Knight is one of only 14 advanced Pet Health Counsellors in the UK & Annie Smedley RVN Cert SAN has the advanced nursing certificate in small animal nutrition. Annie is not only qualified to advise on feeding to promote good health, but also to manage long term illnesses such as diabetes and kidney disease.

Attendance at our nurse clinics is free if your dog, cat or rabbit is a member of Woodcroft’s exclusive Pet Club. In certain circumstances you may need to be referred to one our vets for a follow up assessment. This would involve a full consultation and health check and would be subject to our standard fees.
